Architect 01530 410826

Background and industry experience

Kay's work includes drawing up building surveys, producing design, detail and working drawings (all in CAD) and submitting Building Regulation applications.

Having qualified as an architect in 1984 and with extensive experience, particularly in industrial and residential architectural work, she had 'semi-retired' to pursue her dream of painting and running an art gallery. A change in circumstances brought her to Fisher German in June 2016 where she is now assisting the Planning, Construction & Development Team.

Originally from Derby, she has moved around the country over the years, and recently moved back to Derby. She is club secretary of the Ashby Art Club, and is planning to start painting again once she is settled in her new home. She practices karate and kickboxing several times a week and is hoping to achieve black belt status in karate in the next year or two.
