Background and industry experienceJackie’s role as a Negotiator in agency sales is a varied one which takes her out to village and rural properties surrounding our Banbury office.These span several counties including Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire and include period and modern homes, barn conversions, building plots and new homes. From producing sale brochures to handling best and final offers, every day offers something different. Jackie has been a member of the National Association of Estate Agents for over 10 years and has over 20 years’ experience in selling homes in the locality putting her in good stead to handle a huge variety of sales.
Prior to estate agency Jackie was employed by a firm of solicitors for over 15 years, giving her beneficial experience and a solid legal background.
Away from the office Jackie enjoys travelling, theatre, live music and being creative; anything from making silver jewellery to stained glass windows.
What year did you start your job?
Why did you join Fisher German?
As a natural progression from my previous role with a local competitor. After attending an interview I felt excited at the prospect of joining Fisher German and I have not looked back.
What has been your favourite project and why?
Selling an old and quirky self-sufficient lock cottage which could only be reached by the canal or on foot via the towpath. We took a small boat to view it and it sold quite swiftly.
Most admired, non-property brand?
Ikea. For thinking about their customers’ needs when they visit their stores.
Anything creative, from theatre to art/craft exhibitions.
Best holiday destination?
Safari in Kenya.
One item to take to a desert island?
A yacht – the luxury kind, fully crewed and kitted out.
