Background and industry experience

Guy is responsible for the day to day management of the Esso pipeline contract, which is administered from the Hungerford office where he oversees a team of 22.

Guy has been in the industry for over 21 years, originally with FPD Savills, then the British Pipeline Agency and now Fisher German. His original background is farming, which, coupled with his specialist knowledge in this arena, enables him to give sound and balanced advice to his clients.

Guy is married with five children whose ages range from 31 down to 14! They live on a farm, for which Guy has overall management. Outside of work, he helps his wife Ginny with a wedding venue business spending most of his weekends mowing. They also run a Bed & Breakfast. He is passionate about field sports, in particular, fly fishing; he even manages to fly fish for sea bass from a kayak whilst on the annual family holiday in the Isle of Wight; it provides wonderful solitude! His favourite pastime is salmon fishing, which takes him to remote parts of Scotland and in the past, the Kola Peninsula in North West Russia.
