Background and industry experienceEmily joined the Newark office in 2016 and works in the Rural team. She is involved in valuations, tenancy matters, farm agency, rural estate management, compulsory purchase, telecoms management and all aspects of general practice. She graduated from Harper Adams University in 2015 in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. Her degree included a twelve-month placement in the Ashby office, working in the Utilities sector on the management of a UK-wide oil pipeline network.
After graduating, Emily worked in the Newark office over the summer in the Rural and Farms teams before taking a year out to travel and work abroad. She worked on an orchard in Australia and on a dairy farm in Canterbury, New Zealand. After re-joining the firm, Emily qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and passed her CAAV exams in Autumn 2017.
In her spare time, Emily captains Newark Ladies 3’s hockey team and enjoys travelling, cooking, skiing and playing sport.
