Background and industry experience

Emanuel's role entails providing professional rural services and advice to property, landowners and rural business across the UK. This includes general practice and property management advice to private and corporate clients.

Emanuel is currently engaged in providing landlord and tenant advice to a renewable energy developer in Wales, property management advice to a corporate client in the West Midlands and advice to three traditional Estates in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. In addition to this, Emanuel is involved in general practice work on a consultancy basis.

Emanuel contributes to the training of graduates within Fisher German, being an assessment of professional competence (APC) supervisor. He also participates in the internal APC mock exam process.

Emanuel was put forward for the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year Competition in London in 2015, being shortlisted and Highly Commended by the judging panel. Emanuel was awarded the MCAVA Gavel for the highest practical examination mark and the Thomas Willoughby Garton Trophy for the highest written examination mark in the Fellowship exams of the CAAV. More recently, Emanuel is involved with the Nottingham RICS Matrics group as a committee member.

Why did you join Fisher German?
Fisher German attracted me due to the wide range of work undertaken including the diversity of the services offered, diverse client base from large PLCs to individual property owners and businesses

What has been your favourite project and why?
In 2014 I was engaged by a client to make changes to a secure tenancy to enable a natural burial ground business to develop on agricultural land. This included a negotiation of changes and amendments to an existing agricultural tenancy, planning consultancy work and the establishment and management of a new business opportunity.

Top pastime?
Squash. Although to a very amateur standard.

Best holiday destination?
Italy for the culture, scenery and beaches.
