Background and industry experience

Tom is an Associate Director in the Fisher German UK Minerals team. His extensive knowledge of the minerals industry has been gained from working over 19 years in the global cement and aggregates sector. Previously working for a large quarrying plc, he was responsible for the management of its substantial mineral reserve portfolio across western Europe.

Currently fulfilling the role of Chartered Geologist for Fisher German LLP, he manages mineral assets across a board portfolio of private clients and quarry operators. He specialises in the negotiation and acquisition of freehold and leasehold minerals, geological modelling, quarry design and reserve reporting.

Tom lives in the north Cotswolds with his wife, two girls and a border collie. Whenever time allows, he enjoys cycling, rugby and motorsport.

Having worked with FG in my previous role, I've always admired the energy within the company and I wanted to be part of it.

What has been your favourite project and why?
Seeing a quarry design I've created on GoogleEarth is pretty cool
