Background and industry experience

Angela is a Chartered Member of the RTPI, with over 17 years of professional planning experience in the private sector. She has worked on a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, retail and renewable energy on behalf of national, regional and local house builders, businesses, charities and private landowners.

Although based in the Ashby office, Angela works on a national basis. She specialises in strategic planning, advising clients on planning and development opportunities, aligned with the preparation and co-ordination of planning applications and appeals. She also undertakes critical analysis of local planning authorities' five year housing land supply, preparing environmental impact assessments (EIA) and liaising with key stakeholders and the local community in the preparation of development proposals.

Angela lives in Derbyshire and enjoys long country walks with her husband and spaniel. Her most difficult feats have included walking the West Highland Way and climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro.

Moving from a regular planning consultancy that mainly focused on urban development; Fisher German provided more rural development opportunities to widen the variety of work to undertake.
