Background and industry experience

Andrew is the Managing Partner of Fisher German LLP and leads the Management Team, as well as being Managing Director of Fisher German Ltd, Chairman of Fisher German Priestner Ltd, Director of Property Bond Ltd and Director of LinesearchbeforeUdig Ltd. He also has direct operational responsibility for the Central Midlands and East Midlands regions of the business. As Managing Partner, he has overall responsibility for the management and direction of Fisher German and its associated enterprises. Andrew also maintains a full client portfolio, representing Fisher German as Contract Director on its major pipeline management contracts with Exxon Mobila and Valero. In addition, he is engaged in the provision of estate management services to private clients in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Having studied Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, he qualified as a chartered surveyor in North Yorkshire and joined John German in 1983. He became a fellow of the CAAV in 1986 and a fellow of the RICS in 1996. Andrew was responsible for developing the master plan that enabled the creation of the Fisher German business and was jointly responsible for the implementation of that plan from 2000 with Henry Sale, until Henry’s untimely death in 2013 when Andrew assumed lead responsibility for the firm’s management.

Andrew is married with three grown up children. He is a fully qualified rugby union coach and referee and has had a 50 year love affair with the game. He is a keen golfer and fly fisherman and an avid watcher of his children playing sport.
