Background and industry experience
Amy is an Associate in the Rural Sector, based in the Banbury office. Amy is involved in a wide range of general practice rural professional work, principally property valuations on a wide range of property types for a variety of purposes, including: matrimonial, secured lending and taxation. Amy also works with the Fisher German Planning team, advising clients on planning and development opportunities for rural properties.Having completed her degree at the Royal Agricultural College in 2006, Amy joined a small rural practice and qualified as a surveyor in 2008, before moving to Fisher German in 2010 to join the Rural Consultancy sector, and was promoted to Associate in 2012. Working from the Banbury office enables Amy to make use of her local knowledge, having grown up on the family farm just north of Banbury, in Warwickshire.
Amy lives in Northamptonshire with her husband, daughter, cocker spaniel and one cat. She currently works part time (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), and enjoys looking after her daughter on her days off. Amy is also a fully qualified yoga teacher, and in her spare time runs a weekly class in Banbury as well as attending retreats and further teacher trainings whenever possible.
