Background and industry experienceAmy is part of the National Planning and Development Team at Fisher German. She is based in the Ashby office but operates across the office network. Specialising in residential development, she provides both development consultancy and agency advice to a broad range of clients.
She advises on development matters throughout the project lifecycle; initially identifying lands development potential, negotiating strategic agreements, assisting in monitoring the planning promotion and acting on the sale of land with planning permission. In addition, she can provide development valuations, viability assessments and advice on affordable housing.
After deciding to pursue a career change, Amy joined Fisher German in 2017, completed a masters degree in Planning and Development at Nottingham Trent University in 2019, and became a Chartered Surveyor in Summer 2020. Amy previously worked in Parliament for the Industry and Parliament Trust.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys to travel and has recently started kickboxing. She is also a member of the RICS Matrics Committee in Derbyshire.
