Background and industry experienceAmy joined Fisher German in February 2017 as a student surveyor in National Planning, Construction & Development. Working alongside the rest of the Development team, she advises clients as to their land's development potential and helps to negotiate the terms of strategic agreements and the sale of residentially-led development land. With the Strategic Planning team, Amy helps to appraise the planning potential of sites.
As part of her role, Amy undertakes and trains other members of the firm in land searching. Land searches focus on specific LPAs and identify sites that may have development potential.
Amy began working towards an RICS accredited MSc in Planning and Development at Nottingham Trent University in 2017. This course will equip her with up to date technical knowledge and give her a general overview of best practice in the real estate, and specifically development, industry. Amy is also a member of the RICS Matrics Derbyshire Committee.
