Background and industry experienceAbby joined the Utilities & Infrastructure team in Ashby in September 2016.
Whilst undertaking a Rural Enterprise & Land Management degree at Harper Adams University, Abby completed a 14 month placement with the Bolesworth Estate in Cheshire. Abby was involved with everything, ranging from landlord and tenant issues, to getting hands on with the annual Bolesworth International Showjumping event. Abby went on to read the RTPI accredited MSc Urban & Regional Planning degree at the University of Birmingham before joining Fisher German.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys dancing, skiing and spending time with her two ponies. Abby enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.

September 2016 - it feels like yesterday!
Why did you join Fisher German?
I chose Fisher German because of its great reputation, the personal approach and the fun, lively environment on offer. I work on high profile schemes and projects, which provides me with invaluable experience. I feel so lucky to work with such a great group of like-minded people!
What has been your favourite project and why?
I loved working on the North West Coast Connection Project in Cumbria. I got to meet so many different people and found the DCO process so interesting. Working in such a beautiful part of the country was a bonus!

City breaks to Spain to practice my Spanish
Best holiday destination?
The United States of America! There are limitless things to see and do. You can do absolutely everything from skiing, beach breaks, road trips and of course Las Vegas - the 24 hour city!
One item to take to a desert island?
My Australian Terrier, Tyke
Who would you like to be stranded in a lift with?
My dad. He always comes to my rescue. Or Boris Johnson - he's such as character and I would love to listen to all his stories!
