Background and industry experienceTom heads up the valuation team for the South West, specialising in residential and agricultural property valuations for a variety of purposes including taxation, lending, and expert witness.
Tom, who grew up in Devon, joined Fisher German's newly opened Exeter office in January 2021, after 13 years with Savills, including 10 years in their London-based national rural portfolio valuation team, as part of which he valued an extensive and diverse range of agricultural, residential, and commercial properties across the country. After an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge, he took an MSc in Estate Management at The Royal Agricultural College and started off his career as Assistant Agent at The Crown Estate Windsor, before moving into valuation. Tom has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and understanding of valuation matters and is a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers and an Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Tom lives in Devon with his wife, and enjoys country and maritime pursuits.
