Situation
Hillesden is a rural hamlet situated around four miles from the market town of Buckingham, where there is a good range of shopping and leisure facilities, a library, and dental and GP surgeries. A wider range of facilities can be found in Milton Keynes (16.5 miles) and Bicester (11 miles).


The area is well served for schools, with The Royal Latin Grammar School at Buckingham, Akeley Wood and Thornton College. Further afield, Stowe, Beachborough, Winchester House, Tudor Hall and Bloxham, plus the Oxford schools including The Dragon, St Edwards, Magdalen and Headington.
