Accommodation
Moidart House is formerly a barn built around the 1800’s and constructed of stone under a slate roof. It was converted in 1933 with many period detailing including beamed ceilings, stone mullion windows and stained glass windows. The house provides spacious and light accommodation as well as a large south east facing walled garden. A wide entrance hall with parquet floor is central to the property from which can be accessed the formal reception rooms. The drawing room is characterful with high ceilings and an open fireplace. A door leads through to a garden room on the southern side of the house. The panelled dining room is a particular feature with a bow window overlooking the wonderful garden. From the hallway can be accessed the kitchen breakfast room with wood wall and base units, working Aga and a view of the garden. Accessed from the rear hall is a sitting room , study area and shower room. With separate access ,this could used as a separate annexe ideal for granny, staff or income generation (subject to the necessary consents). Stairs rise to the open plan landing area with plenty of light. The master bedroom has views over the garden with an ensuite bathroom and dressing area as well as built in cupboards. Three further double bedrooms and a family bathroom complete the first floor accommodation.

Grounds and gardens
The garden is a particular feature of the property being both large and private. Enclosed by stone walls, the garden has many features including lovely stone architectural features brought in by the original owner that are amalgamated into the garden giving a faintly ecclesiastical theme. A stone stepped terrace abuts the house to the rear and leads to a variety of garden areas.

The central lawn is flanked by mature herbaceous borders with a variety of plants and shrubs as well as mature trees. A large stone south facing summer house is ideal for entertaining and to the rear of the garden is a large potting shed and vegetable garden with fruit beds. The property is approached from the front through stone pillars onto a gravel driveway with plenty of parking, a detached stone garage with loft storage could be utilised as an office subject to necessary planning consents.
