Fisher German is pleased to welcome a new surveyor, Rory Hague, to its Doncaster office as the region strengthens its commercial team. Rory, who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in real estate from Sheffield Hallam University in 2015, joins the team after working as an Estates Surveyor for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
His five years’ experience working in the property sector has seen him undertake projects across the UK including in Suffolk, South Yorkshire and Hertfordshire, gaining RICS accreditation in 2018. He brings with him an array of agency, management and professional service experience having dealt with a wide variety of public, commercial and residential sector assets. Rory’s cross-sector experience will enhance the commercial services already available at the Doncaster office, which include consultancy, landlord and tenant matters, planning and development.

He joins a thriving branch in Doncaster, at the heart of a rapidly growing region, alongside an excellent team of property professionals, and will no doubt have all the tools to develop his career in the years to come.”
Rory explained his choice in joining Fisher German’s commercial team: “I joined Fisher German because it is very much people-focused. The role is pretty varied – it’s a mix of agency and professional work, as well as involving property inspections, reviewing assets, and making recommendations for future use of assets while considering any site-specific restrictions. It has been incredibly interesting and exciting to be taking on a variety of new projects.I am looking forward to developing my skills as a surveyor in the commercial sector and Fisher German is a fantastic place to do that.”
The addition of Fisher German’s Doncaster office in 2017 extends the area covered by the regional team north from Nottinghamshire and the surrounding counties, up into Yorkshire and Humberside. Since moving to the office, Fisher German has seen significant growth in its commercial business having undertaken multiple cross sector projects for a variety of new clients across the region.
