Rod Waldron

A leading property firm has made a senior appointment to head up a new agency team in Cheshire to take advantage of an improving market. Rod Waldron has been appointed by Fisher German at their Knutsford office after the firm wanted to tap into the growing property market in the area.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Rod has exceptional experience dealing in the brokerage of mid to high-end properties throughout Cheshire and is now ready to take on a new challenge. He said: “I’m really excited to be joining everyone at Fisher German and confident I can lead the new Knutsford team to great success.
Although I’ve worked in the sector for more than 20 years, I’m always looking for new challenges, so I’m really looking forward to getting started in this new role.
Fisher German are a well-respected, progressive and innovative business with expertise in various aspects of the property sector, so they were a really strong fit for me.”

Rod, originally from the Black Country in the West Midlands, started his career as an estate agent back in 1996 on the coast of north Wales after moving there as a teenager. Subsequently, Rod enjoyed more than 20 years working on the Wirral heading flagship offices for both leading independent and corporate estate agents, namely multi award-winning Karl Tatler and The Clive Watkin Partnership, both respected firms of estate agents and valuers. Rod will be joined at Knutsford by an experienced sales negotiator, Hollie Cammiss, who lives on the fringe of the town, and has a wealth of local professional and social contacts.

Partner Michael Harris, who heads the North West agency team, was very pleased to welcome Rod to join Fisher German. He said: “We have been planning for some time to launch a dedicated agency team in Knutsford to take advantage of the significant opportunities there. The strengthening Fisher German brand in the area in recent years, coupled with identifying an excellent candidate in Rod for the role, makes this a very exciting proposition for us. Rod has had an excellent career as an estate agent, and he’s the perfect fit to lead the new team in Knutsford.”
