About us fisher german

A leading property agency has made three promotions as the firm experiences a continued period of growth.

Fisher German has promoted Anna Collins to associate director and Hannah Godley to senior planner at its Ashby office and Ben Flint to senior surveyor at its Doncaster office.

Anna, who has been in the industry more than 20 years, is based in Fisher German’s central Midlands valuation team and originally joined the firm’s Ashby office after graduating from Reading University. She then left the firm before re-joining in 2014, working in Market Harborough and then returning to the office where she began her career.

Anna specialises in the strategic management of rural assets including valuation, development opportunities, diversification and landlord and tenant matters. She said: “This promotion formalises my role, and I am very pleased to receive it after returning to the office where I first started. Rural is one of the strong growth areas of the firm, and I’m now looking forward to working together with the rest of the valuation team to broaden our services across the Midlands.”

Hannah joined the firm in 2014 as a graduate and went on to achieve chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) in 2016. Her work in the strategic planning team focuses on residential planning applications as well as appraising the development potential of sites, identifying strategies for their promotion and submitting representations to development plan consultations.Hannah said: “Fisher German has been a fantastic place for me to develop my experience in the sector, and there is a very clear progression route. I am looking forward to continuing to help the strategic planning team to grow.”

Ben sits within Fisher German’s commercial team with a primary focus on agency and professional work, which leads to him being involved in the sale, leasing and acquisition of a wide range of commercial properties across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and adjacent counties. He achieved chartered status in 2017 and works with both private and corporate clients, identifying new opportunities for maximising their returns on properties. Ben said: “The Doncaster office has seen a huge amount of success since opening in 2017 after relocating from Retford, and am I glad to have played a part in that success. The move has enabled the office to expand and strengthen the services offered to clients, and it is fantastic to have contributed to this. I now look forward to continuing my career progression, and helping develop our commercial team further with a particular focus on agency.”

Charles Meynell, senior partner of Fisher German, said: “We have experienced a very successful 2018, and these promotions demonstrate this. I would like to congratulate Anna, Hannah and Ben whose hard work has contributed to the ongoing success and development of the firm.”
