Art workshop sale worcester fisher german banner

We have recently sold a former Arts Workshop in Sansome Street, Worcester above market expectation after multiple buyers expressed significant interest. John and Linda Gresty-Brierley bought the workshop for £700,000 on behalf of owners Worcestershire County Council.

The three-storey, 5,262 sq ft building had been unoccupied since late 2020 when the pandemic forced it to close.

Lauren Allcoat, our Associate based at our Worcester office, said: “The interest in the sale of the arts workshop showed just how buoyant the commercial market is in Worcester and further afield – we had 22 parties view the building with many making subsequent offers. There were bids from parties that wanted to change the building into either offices, residential properties, a hotel, and as an investment. This level of interest led to us achieving a great price for the building – far higher than our initial expectations.”

The building will now be a community asset and become home to several fast-growing businesses and initiatives when it opens in December.
