Brockhampton edit

We are thrilled to announce that we have completed lettings on four office units at Brockhampton Estate with only one unit remaining to rent in the sought-after rural location as an increasing number of businesses across the area favour countryside working.

The four offices have been leased to Leadership Trust, a leadership development and coaching company, which has secured two units, as well as Ultra Horizon Ltd, which specialises in secure high performance networking equipment and Advice 4U Financial Planning Ltd, which provides independent financial advice.

The remaining unit available is Great Barn North, a 1,173 sq. ft refurbished barn which benefits from high-speed fibre broadband connectivity, under-floor hearing and dedicated car parking. Lauren Allcoat, based at our Worcester office, explained how we are seeing rural office spaces become increasingly popular as more businesses look to immerse themselves into the countryside.

Lauren said: “We are very pleased to secure leases on four units at Brockhampton Estate in just one month. Although there is certainly still a thirst for town and city centre working, equally we are seeing a real increase in the number of businesses in Hereford and the surrounding areas looking for office space in rural locations which benefit from good transport links and strong connectivity. Lockdown has opened up new possibilities, with Zoom and Teams meetings becoming part of the new normal, and companies have demonstrated that it can be business as usual wherever they are.

Lauren went on, “The units at Brockhampton Estate provide stunning work environments with idyllic surroundings including landscaping by Chelsea Gold Medal designer Tom Stuart-Smith, while also benefitting from ample parking and technology such as fibre broadband. Environmental sustainability is a key aim of the development, and occupiers benefit from cost savings as a result, with rainwater harvested for the irrigation of plants and landscaping as well as for flushing the toilets and heating within the offices being provided by a ground source heat pump. All of the new tenants have relocated due to business expansion plans, and it is fantastic that the estate is able to facilitate this growth and continue to support the local economy.”
