Fisher German has been shortlisted for Property Deal of the Year at the Insider West Midlands Property Awards, making this the fourth award nomination for the National Development Team this year. The team is one of five contenders for the regional property award, in recognition of a multi-million pound deal completed during the lockdown period.

The deal shortlisted is for the sale of Callendar Farm, in Nuneaton, to Taylor Wimpey and Jelson Homes. The major eight figure deal completed in the middle of the Covid-19 lockdown period, as our teams across the business continued to work as hard as ever for clients. The development site has planning permission for 850 homes, of which 212 are set to be affordable, as well as a local centre providing retail development and community buildings and a proposed new primary school.

The awards recognise some of the most successful property businesses and projects across the area.

The announcement comes after the team was shortlisted for Deal of the Year at Insider’s Midlands Residential Property Awards 2020, as well as Deal of the Year and Agent of the Year at its East Midlands Property Awards 2020 earlier this year. You can read more about those nominations here.

The West Midlands award winners will be announced at a gala dinner set to be held in Birmingham on 4 March 2021. The event will celebrate not only the winners, but also the strength and resilience of the region’s property sector.

Partner Luke Brafield said: “We are extremely proud to be shortlisted for another Insider property award. Callendar Farm was an excellent example of the work we are able to achieve during challenging circumstances – not only completing on the sale of a large site but also securing the best deal for our client. We look forward to celebrating our achievements as well as the sector as a whole at the awards evening next year.”
