A new luxury Champagne bar offering a wide variety of Champagnes and an extensive cocktail menu is scheduled to open in Stafford at the end of July, bringing five new jobs to the area. Business owner Rocco Johnson signed a six-year lease on The Tree House, on Mill Street, and work is well underway on the new bar, which will also offer a variety of wines, bottled beers and ciders and a selection of tapas.

Rocco said: “We’re very excited to launch what will be Stafford’s only Champagne bar. There are some really nice bars and restaurants in the surrounding area, and The Tree House will complement these very well. We wanted to create a high-end experience for our customers and have a menu featuring the very best Champagnes and cocktails to reflect this. I have my core team in place and will be recruiting another five members of staff next month. We expect the bar will be ready to open at the end of July should government restrictions allow, and we will be implementing all of the necessary measures to ensure our customers can visit safely. It has been a challenging few months for the hospitality industry, but we are confident that the luxury experience we are creating will help attract customers back into the town centre and support the local economy.”

Lauren Allcoat, Surveyor in our Worcester office, acted on the lease on behalf of client Martrus15 Ltd and said that the new business is a very positive addition to the town. Lauren said: “It is fantastic to see that despite the current uncertain circumstances, new businesses are still being attracted to Stafford. It shows confidence not only in the town, but also in the industry, and we wish Rocco every success in the launch of The Tree House.”
