Our bespoke app, designed for farmers and landowners to access all sorts of key rural information in one place, has recently been updated – download the free app for instant access to key insights and information. The Fisher German Rural app allows users to instantly access the latest prices of key rural commodities such as futures in wheat, maize and rapeseed, enabling them to make better decisions when selling their crops.

It also has a host of other useful features including a currency converter, a unit converter and a built-in list of Fisher German contacts for users to call at the touch of a button. Need some advice? Got a question? You can search for a name and call us straight from the app. Mapping data, weather data and financial information such as tax tables and price indices are also integrated into the app, giving you everything you need in one place.

Mike Reynolds, Associate Director at Fisher German who helped create the app with Loughborough-based app developers Cuttlefish, said: “We came up with the idea at a ‘Dragons Den’ style event during a rural away day. We had seen there were apps displaying things like rural market data and separate apps for things like currency conversion. So we thought developing an app that combines all of this information and puts it in one place would be very useful for farmers, landowners and clients. It’s a one-stop-shop for all things rural, and is absolutely free to download and use. We’ve recently given the app a bit of a facelift, improving the look of the interface and adding features such as being able to search for weather and mapping data for anywhere instead of just at your location.

We would encourage anyone who works in the rural sector to give it a try – we want to make things as simple as possible for farmers, landowners and clients and we believe our app does exactly that.”

The app is available for both iOS and Android, and is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Just search for ‘Fisher German Rural’.
