8 deals in knutsford fisher german banner

Knutsford’s commercial property market is proving buoyant with a series of new deals completing in the town – including the lease of a former Thai restaurant. Fisher German’s commercial property team in Knutsford are keeping themselves busy with negotiations for eight deals in the town on behalf of its client Monckton Properties Ltd, part of the Tatton Estate.

With many retail units being among these deals, Knutsford is bucking the national trend when it comes to success for businesses on the high street.
One such deal that has recently completed is the leasing of the former Chilli Banana restaurant at 84 King Street. Blue Sky Foods Ltd is now the tenant of the unit and is planning on turning it into ‘King Street Kitchen’, a restaurant specialising in healthy food. It is hoped the restaurant will open in the autumn. Fisher German are also negotiating for further properties based around King Street, Canute Place and Red Cow Yard.

Hugh Platt, Associate Director at Fisher German’s Knutsford office, felt this showed how strong the commercial property market is in the town at the moment. He said: “Plenty of buyers and tenants are very interested in buying or leasing commercial property in Knutsford, which is fantastic for the local economy. It’s great to have helped Blue Sky Food agree a deal to move into the former Chilli Banana restaurant on King Street – I’m sure many people in Knutsford will be looking forward to trying the food at King Street Kitchen. And the other deals we are negotiating are also close to completion, so Knutsford will be home to many more new businesses in the near future. We’re very happy to be playing a part in encouraging buyers and tenants to come to Knutsford and to help the town thrive.”
