The Team & Focus of the Role

We’re looking for a combined Sales Negotiator and Valuer who prioritises customer service, and who is a real team player looking to work within a collaborative and dedicated team.

The core purpose of this role is to promote and subsequently sell properties for our clients, whilst building and maintaining a close relationship with both clients and those we sell to. This role will be within our Central Agency Team. The successful candidate will be based in due course from our Stafford office but regular visits to our Ashby de la Zouch office will also be required particularly during the initial stages of their employment.

The role will be full time 37.5 hours (Mon-Friday) and you would be required to work on a Saturday rota (1 in 4 rotation). Due to the nature of the role we would require this individual to be fully office based for the first few months (not including being on-site with clients).

Duties will include:

  • Working to regular targets and KPI’s
  • Pitch preparation
  • Pitching/valuing on a broad range of property types – typically rural-residential and village houses
  • Regular communication with clients
  • Undertaking property viewings
  • Management of applicants and vendors
  • Management of instructions
  • Negotiating offers between vendors and buyers
  • Proactively contacting prospective vendors to arrange property viewings and valuations
  • Offering additional services to clients where it would be beneficial to those clients
  • Dealing with the full transactional journey through to completion
  • Providing exceptional customer service both face to face and over the phone
  • Some liaison with solicitors to progress sales

The successful candidate will have ...

  • Previous estate agency experience and ability to demonstrate a strong track record of winning business, delivering first class client service, and delivering impressive sales results
  • Technically robust property knowledge
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills with both great written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • A results driven approach
  • A full driving licence
