HS2 June 2015 Update

June 2015

HS2
Those affected by the proposed HS2 rail link from London to Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester can now expect greater certainty that the line will be built as the new Government have already confirmed its plans to press on in the Queen’s Speech.

Phase 1 is currently subject to Petitioners hearings and HS2 appear to be working on gaining their necessary powers to undertake construction towards the of 2016.  Phase 2 remains at the proposal stage but Safeguarding of the route is expected in the autumn.

Fisher German advise a considerable number of those affected by the scheme, from residential house owners, through farmers and landowners to those with commercial property.

We have had substantial success with service of Blight Notices, Exceptional Hardship Scheme and Need to Sell applications as well as providing sound guidance to those affected who are not yet in a position to put forward a claim or who have petitioned against elements of the scheme.

If you are affected by the proposed railway then we are in an excellent position to assist you.
