Many of those who are affected by HS2 will have recently received further documentation regarding the railway.
HS2 have received Royal Assent to their Hybrid Bill making now an official Act of Parliament giving them the powers they need to compulsory purchase land and construct the project from London to Birmingham, the section known as Phase 1. This is a key milestone in the project and will have implications for 1000s of landowners.
