renewable energy news
The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has chosen renewable energy experts Fisher German to deliver training across the UK to RICS valuers.

The CPD sessions will cover what RICS valuers need to consider when valuing a renewable energy project.

Elspeth Rumary, Head of Conference Production at RICS says “we chose Fisher German because of their extensive knowledge in valuing these projects. They have a large experienced team who have been involved in valuing renewable energy projects for many years”.

Mark Newton, head of renewable energy adds “we are delighted to have been chosen. We were one of the first firms of chartered surveyors to become involved in specialist renewable projects and have since become involved in thousands of renewable schemes.

Over the last couple of years, Fisher German has been selected by several of the main UK clearing banks to deliver renewable energy training to the bank’s managers and Fisher German have now completed a large number of due diligence valuation reports for the banks.

In addition, Fisher German has also completed a large number of valuations for renewable projects including dispute resolution work, expert witness reports and overage clauses are another specialist area of valuation work”.

The RICS CPD sessions are being held in eight locations during November and December 2014 and January 2015. Bookings can be made by visiting www.rics.org/cpdseries
