New appointment to strengthen utilities department at Fisher German
Rural property consultancy Fisher German has expanded its utilities department with the appointment of Claire Priestner BSc(Hons) MRICS FAAV, as managing director of Fisher German Priestner Limited, which forms part of Fisher German in Knutsford, Cheshire.
Claire, a rural practice chartered surveyor, has joined the firm from Bell Ingram and will head up a new utilities department to offer services to the pipeline, communication and energy businesses in the North and Wales areas. This will complement the existing team of surveyors undertaking estate management, sales and lettings. Claire is joined by her PA, Sue Burnett and assistant land agent, Amy Price.
“These are exciting times for Fisher German and I am extremely pleased to welcome Claire and her team to our business,” commented managing partner Andrew Jackson. “Fisher German Priestner Ltd is our first joint venture as a partnership and we’ve started the business with a new contract with BT Wholesale. This may well be the start of similar projects we do in the future.”
Claire is from a farming background in Cheshire, having undertaken roles within the farming community including Cheshire Dairy Queen, Lady Chairman of Cheshire Federation of Young Farmer's Clubs and President of Cheshire Agricultural Valuers Association.
