First Fisher German Machinery Sale

20/12/2005

SalesFisher German conducted the first Farm Machinery Dispersal Auction under their banner on Thursday 2nd June 2005 at Ridlington House Farm near Uppingham, Leicestershire.  The sale was conducted by Charles Haselwood whose firm, Clayson Haselwood, regularly conducted such sales, prior to the merger with Fisher German.   “This is a classic case of the synergy of the merger, to the benefit of the client and the firm alike.”

The sale followed the retirement of the farm manager, his family having been involved on the farm since 1860, and the farm will now be run under a contract agreement set up by Fisher German with a large farming business in the locality.

Highlights of the sale were a Claas Dominator 98 SL combine harvester with 7 seasons under its belt at £31,100, a John Deere 6600 tractor at £14,000, a John Deere 3050 tractor at £7,450, and a Sulky Compact drill/power harrow combination at £4,600.

Buyers came from eleven counties, as far afield as Hereford and Monmouth.
