After a very prolific year in 2005 for auction sales (selling 37 of the 40 properties offered for over £16 million), this year has continued in a similar vein.  We have already sold 21 properties totalling over £6 million and there are other lots  in auctions planned over the summer.

Concentrated marketing, competative bidding and instant exchange of contracts are the main advantages of selling by auction.  Unusual properties, regularly making more than expected is another.  Development opportunities and land also tend to sell well by auction.
