Equestrian property market update

21/01/2009

Twyford mill2009 promises to be a challenging year for all aspects of the property market.

However, the early signs are that the effect on the equestrian property market may not be as great as other sectors.

Small blocks of agricultural land and edge of village paddocks are still commanding good prices with some high premiums being achieved where there are a number of special purchasers.

Further up the scale things are a little different with buyers now being more picky over the type of property they are looking for and the price they are willing to pay. People are preferring to invest in blank canvases of equestrian properties with simply a dwelling and land rather than make do with existing facilities.

The availability of top quality equestrian properties is however still scarce, with a number of cash purchasers ready to pounce on the right property when it becomes available.
