A total of 22 Acres of land was sold in 7 lots for £46,500 in Ashby Office's most recent property auction on 21st July 2005. The land was part of Westfields Farm, Earl Shilton.
"The extra work of splitting the land into 7 lots certainly paid off" claims Auctioneer Tony Ridgway. Prices ranged from £5,800 per acre to £8,500 per acre.
This compares to two lots of land that The firm's Banbury office sold the following week by auction for £5,450 per acre and £8,100 per acre. Both parcels of land measure approximately 5.5 acres each and were on the edge of Wardington, near Banbury.
