Richard Broome, one of the intrepid team, gives us an insider's view:
"The Fisher German team of 14 who undertook the Challenge climbed the four highest peaks in the UK (with the exception of one whose knee sadly gave way on Snowdon) within a time of 39 hours and 32 minutes!
The weather was extremely kind - only raining whilst the team were travelling between the mountains. The light drizzle (or Irish Mist) encountered on Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland was taken lightly as all attention was focused on the Guinness waiting in the hotel bar!
The walking team were helped enormously by the support crew, who took on the role of everything from drivers and chefs to official timekeepers. In total 12,230 ft was climbed and descended, in 18 hours and 52 minutes."
