Rare opportunity to acquire sporting rights lease

TATTON

A rare opportunity has arisen to acquire the lease on 3592 acres of exclusive sporting rights at the Tatton Estate, near Knutsford, Cheshire.

The Estate has been in private ownership since the early 1960’s following the death of Lord Egerton. At that time Tatton Hall and Park were left to the National Trust and are now managed by Cheshire County Council on behalf of the National Trust.

The remaining Estate was purchased by the present owner’s family and they continue to run it as a traditional Country Estate.

The shoot base is at Park Farm Mobberley which comprises the keeper’s house, a traditional range of buildings and paddocks. The buildings and paddocks are used for the rearing of game and general storage.

There is also a ‘Shoot room’ which is used for lunches and meeting purposes.
