farmRichard Hutcheon at Fisher German’s Worcester Office reveals how to secure a sale in a challenging market.

In a changing market, finding the best buyers quickly at an acceptable price is the key to success.

Experienced Agents with good local knowledge and tailored marketing advice combined with local, regional and national advertising will reach a wide range of potential purchasers.  Listening and understanding purchasers’ needs is the fast track to a successful sale.   Matching the purchaser to the right property will provide results even in a sluggish market.

An accurate valuation which reflects the seller’s objectives is most likely to secure an optimum price but the highest valuations may not set a realistic or even achievable target.

Richard Hutcheon continues “In our sales particulars we focus strongly on the local setting, painting the picture with community activities, schools, leisure and sporting facilities to suit a variety of interests and ages – essentially the important things in life.”

In a challenging market buyers become more discerning, and first impressions count, so a tidy house and garden makes a welcoming start.   A light and airy room is always attractive, and the use of ambient lighting will help set your home to its best advantage.  During colder days make sure the heating is on and the welcome of a log fire in the hearth is appealing to buyers.

Richard Hutcheon concludes “If you and your agent make viewing your property easy, prospective purchasers will feel comfortable about coming back – possibly forever!”
