New Associates at Fisher German

Fisher German is pleased to announce three promotions to Associate. They are George Simpson and Richard Scriven, both of the firm’s Stafford Office and Kay Davies from their Ashby Office.

George simpson

George joined the firm in 2001 as a Chartered Surveyor and specialises in pipeline management for the water industry.  He also provides advice to private clients on a wide range of property matters including telecoms, wind farms compulsory purchase and development sites.

Prior to coming to Fisher German George worked for Robinson & Hall in Bedford where he qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV).  He graduated from Harper Adams College in 1999 with a BSc in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. 

Richasrd scrivenRichard Scriven joined the firm’s Stafford Office in September 2002 as a Chartered Surveyor and specialises in estate management.  His principal responsibility is the day to day management of the Needwood Estate, on behalf of the Duchy of Lancaster. Richard also deals with other estate management work and telecommunications sites.

Prior to coming to Fisher German, Richard has previously worked for Smith Woolley in Cambridgeshire, Sale & Partners in Northumberland and Nock Deighton in Shropshire.
 
He qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) in 1997 and is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV).  He graduated from Harper Adams College with a BSc in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. 

Kay daviesKay Davies joined the Ashby office of Fisher German in October 2004 and heads the Company’s Planning Team.  Her work involves advice on all planning matters encompassing site appraisals, planning applications, appeals, local plan promotion and enforcement matters.  Kay provides both an ‘in-house’ planning service to the rural land surveyors as well as having a wide variety of external clients.

Kay has held positions in both the public and private sector.  Beginning work for East Sussex County Council then Leicestershire County Council, she moved into private practice with RPS Planning Consultants in 1999 and WS Atkins in 2001.  Prior to her current position she worked as an independent Planning Consultant.  Kay was elected a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 1998.
