Richard hutcheonWith Fisher German's move to new Worcester offices comes further expansion with the appointment of Richard Hutcheon to head the Country Property Sales team.

Richard brings with him wide ranging experience in rural property sales, working previously for regional and national estate agency firms in Gloucester and the Cotswolds.

Richard commented “in the past five years I have gathered detailed knowledge of the country house market in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.  With Fisher Germans network of offices covering the Midlands this is a wonderful opportunity to widen our sales and valuation service to the three counties from Worcester, which is seen as a key strategic office in the firms ongoing expansion programme”.

Richard and his wife Shelley live near Cheltenham with their three dogs.  Coming originally from a family farming background in Bedfordshire it was a natural step for Richard to gain his degree in Rural Estate Management at Seale Hayne in Devon, where he retains strong links through his wife’s family.

Anthony Mayell, the head of Fisher Germans Worcester office added “with the increasing desirability of Worcestershire country property in the last five years and the spiralling interest in property west of the M5 stretching into Herefordshire, we are delighted that Richard brings such strong property credentials to strengthen our property sales and purchasing department.  This appointment is well timed to coincide with a renaissance in Worcester, a cathedral City and county town now generating prosperity across many surrounding towns and villages.”
