Fisher German Priestner Ltd (FGP), a joint venture between Fisher German LLP and Claire Priestner, has notched up a series of business wins from international companies operating energy and telecommunications businesses in Britain.
Since the firm was established at Fisher German’s Knutsford, Cheshire office in February this year it has built on its strong foundations and Claire Priestner’s ten years’ experience in the sector by confirming contracts in the wind farms, canals and waterways, pipelines, electricity and telecoms cables industries.
FGP complements the skills and experience of Fisher German staff across the business providing expert knowledge and comprehensive services for clients in what is generally called the utilities sector.
Claire Priestner, managing director of FGP leads the team, with Tom Wrench, Sue Burnett and Giles Drew in support. Their workload extends from the north and north west of England to south Wales. Clients include Danish Oil and Natural Gas; Eclipse Energy; Morecambe Wind and E.ON. Spanish-based Gamesa Energy is just one of FGP’s big six onshore wind farm developers and National Grid, experts in networks, operate the national transmissions systems throughout the UK.
Chairman of FGP is Andrew Jackson, one of the managing partners of Fisher German. He believes these are exciting times for Fisher German and is pleased to see the impact that Claire Priestner and her team are making. FGP is the firm’s first joint venture as a partnership and it has already resulted in a significant influx of business. The joint venture is proving to be an interesting model and one that may be utilised elsewhere in the Fisher German business plan as the firm grows both organically and by acquisition.
