Banbury Rural Property consultants Clayson Haselwood Fisher German now simply known as Fisher German, held their latest rural property auction on Thursday 30th March 2006 in front of a packed room in Banbury.
The auction kept up the firm’s excellent success rate from last year, by selling 6 out of the 7 lots offered at prices generally significantly above their guide prices.
This auction however had an added twist, with the BBC in attendance, filming for their highly popular daytime show “Homes under the Hammer”. Auctioneer and Partner Paul Clayson from the Banbury Firm commented that ‘It is always nice to be asked to contribute to such a programme and we were pleased to put on a good show for them.'
Mr Clayson, went on to say that ‘we were pleased to keep up our excellent record from last year where we sold 37 of the 40 properties offered, this equates to a sale percentage of 93%’. He stated that ‘Including this sale, we are offering 21 properties by auction in the months of March and April and are already lining up a bumper sale for early June.'
