The Opportunity

We are looking to recruit a Pipeline Maintenance Technician to support our busy oil pipeline contract teams; ensuring the integrity and maintenance of our clients' cross-country apparatus.

You will be home based; working within a team of experienced Pipeline Maintenance Technicians, with reporting requirements to our Hungerford office.  Duties are wide ranging including line-walking, inspections, ground maintenance activities and supervision of third party works.  The role involves a considerable amount of driving, for which a van is provided, together with lone-working and ‘hands-on’ practical outdoor activities.  The position offers excellent development and training opportunities.

About You

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
  • a current and valid, full UK driving licence
  • a good level of general education
  • computer literacy in all Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Outlook 
  • ability to work flexibly with a practical common sense approach

Experience in practical outdoor skills would be preferred, however, comprehensive training on all aspects of the role will be given to the successful applicant.  


What we can offer

A 40 hour working week plus average overtime hours generates a starting salary of approx. £20,000, rising to approx. £25,000 following an initial training period.
